This is just insane. There's a lot to like about flickr, but this is just weird and not very cool at all.
Basically they will make your account hidden from public parts of the site if you upload a drawing. Apparently the site is 'photos-only'. Jeesh. An image is an image, what the hell are they playing atl. Suffice to say that phlog will never try to pull something like that.
Saw HP&GoF last night. Loved it, awesome. Hated the first two movies, really enjoyed #3 but loved #4. Yeah, loads of subplots letft out, but there’s so much material in the book and only 3 hours of movie to squeeze it into, so what can you expect?
There was a trailer for a new remake of ‘Lassie’. Set in grimy 1930’s Yorkshire, the usual Lassie saves the day type thing. But halfway through it kicks up the music and Glorious by Andreas Johnson blares out as Lassie bounds across the fields. The majority of the audience burst into laughter – probably not the desired effect. The lyrics ‘She’s bringing me in, Turning me on, Making me Glorious’ as a hairy dog is running along somehow just wasn’t right. Ends with a shiny CG ‘LASSIE’ rotating into view. Didn’t really fit with the grimy 1930 Yorkshire feel of the rest of the trailer. Bizarre but rather amusing.

Sure, I'm probably preaching to the converted, but I just wanted to say a big 'w00t' about how awesome it is. Thank the FSM that this guy is out there looking for (and catching!) all those nasty little performance killers.
